Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival to Yerevan

    Arrival at Zvartnots International Airport, meet & assist, transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Yerevan.

  • Day 2: Yerevan City Tour – History Museum – Ararat Brandy Factory

    Breakfast at the hotel. The tour will start with a panoramic Yerevan City tour. Then visiting the History Museum of Armenia. It has a national collection of 400,000 objects and was founded in 1920. Free time in the city. Lunch. The tour continues by visiting Ararat brandy factory. You will be acquainted of brandy making, follow its production phases and enjoy the delicious taste and flavours of different kinds of Ararat brandies. Back to the hotel and overnight in Yerevan.

  • Day 3: Yerevan- Matenadaran- Etchmiadzin – Zvartnots – Yerevan

    Breakfast at the hotel. The tour start by visiting Matenadaran which houses 23,000 manuscripts, fragments and parchments. Lunch. Continue to Etchmiadzin Cathedral, the first official Christian church in the world, built in 301 A.D. Then visit Zvartnots Temple which is an outstanding monument of world architecture, an evidence of the high level development of the artistic and engineering thought in the 7th –century. Back to Yerevan. Overnight.

  • Day 4: Yerevan – KhorVirab – Noravank – Karahunj - Goris

    Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Khor Virab where St Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned in a pit by King Trdat III for 15 years for being Christian. Then visit Noravank which is a 13th century Armenian monastery and has a unique constructive and sculptural work. After having lunch in Noravank transfer to Karahunj which is prehistoric archaeological site near the town of Sisian in the Syunik Province of Armenia. Continue to Goris and overnight in Goris.

  • Day 5: Goris – Khndzoresk – Tatev - Goris

    Breakfast at the hotel in Goris. Tour continues to Khndzoresk which is widely famous for its canyon with picturesque rock formations and ancient cave settlement. The artificial caves, some of which are currently used as stables and warehouses, used to be inhabited till the 1950s. After having lunch the tour continues to Tatev Monastery which used to be the wealthiest medieval monastery in Armenia. Taking the world’s longest cable-car between Halidzor and Tatev Monastery which passes through a deep gorge of the River Vorotan. Back to Goris and overnight in Goris.

  • Day 6 : Goris – Hayravank - Haghartsin – Yerevan

    Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Visit Hayrivank – a 9th to 12th century Armenian monastery located along the southwest shores of Lake Sevan. Lunch. The excursion follows to Dilijan – the forest kingdom of Armenia, a small paradise with its charming nature and extraordinary architecture. Continue to visit Haghartsin Monastery. Back to Yerevan and overnight.

  • Day 7 – Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Lavash Bread Making – Yerevan

    Breakfast at the hotel. Visiting Garni temple which is the unique survived example of Armenian heathen culture. Then heading to the beautiful Christian Monastery of Geghard. This ancient monastery was carved out of solid rock between the 11th and 13th centuries.Tasting the freshly made Armenian lavash bread by the locals at the restaurant, lunch. Bus transfer to Yerevan and Farewell Dinner in Yerevan.

  • Day 8: Departure Yerevan – Arrival Beirut

    Arrival at Rafik Hariri Intl Airport.Meet & assist, transfer to the hotel. Free time and overnight in Beirut.

  • Day 9: Beirut City Tour (National Museum) - Downtown Area

    Breakfast at the hotel. Then the tour starts. Time to explore the capital and the largest city of Lebanon which has been called “Paris of the Middle East”. Some of its main landmarks are: the martyrs’ statue, the Souks (markets) and the parliament building which are part of the design covering 1.8 million square meter. You will also visit the National Museum to get to know the city’s historical and arceological background. The National Museum of Beirut is the principal museum of archaeology in Lebanon. The collection was begun after World War I, and the museum was officially opened in 1942.

  • Day 10: Jeita - Byblos - Harissa

    Breakfast at the hotel. The tour starts with Jeita which is nominated for the seven world wonders. Jeita is one of the world’s most beautiful cavern, at 20 km away north of Beirut. The lower caverns are visited by boat over a subterranean lake 6230 meters long. A dry upper gallery can be seen on foot. Then explore one of the oldest towns in the world goes back at least 7,000 years. Byblos has the richest archaeological areas in the country. Under the domination of the Egyptian pharaons, Byblos was a commercial and religious capital of the Phoenician coast. Time to witness wonderful panoramic view covering the Bay Jounieh (600 meters above sea level – 26 km away from Beirut). Statue of the Virgin Mary was erected in 1908. Inside its base, a chapel with outside spiral staircase that leads to the top, as well telepheric service is provided from the bay of Jounieh to the mountain of Harissa. This tour includes lunch. Back to hotel and overnight.

  • Day 11: Baalbeck – Anjar – Ksara

    Breakfast at the hotel. The tour starts with the visit Baalbeck (the big stone, Temples of Jupiter, Bacchus and Venus) which is 85 KM away from Beirut and located in the Bekaa valley. It makes up the largest and best preserved corpus of roman architecture left around. Next stop is Anjar Omayyads’ Town which was built in the early 8th century after. Inside the city’s strong fortifications are the remains of streets, three palaces, souks, two hammams and a mosque. After having lunch time to see the last hightlight of this tour which is Ksara Winery (Wine tasting and visit of the caves). Back to hotel and overnight.

  • Day 12: Departure Beirut

    Check out from the hotel. Transfer to Rafik Hariri International Airport . End of the tour
